What you can do first

What you can do each month

By using the resources that are provided each month every local unit PTA can advocate for children, whether they have a Legislation Chair or not! Resources include:

  • A Newsletter Article - That is ready to cut and paste into your PTA’s newsletter*
  • A Report - That anyone can read at a PTA Membership or Board Meeting
  • A Flyer - That anyone can hand out at a PTA Membership or Board Meeting

Current resources available on How PTA Can Help

*If your PTA’s newsletter is distributed by "Kid Mail" (sent home with students, is mailed with the school’s newsletter etc) then it is essential to first obtain permission from the school’s principal before including this article in your PTA’s newsletter. More information is available in WSPTA’s Guidelines for Using “Kid Mail”.
